All-in-one computer produced by Apple from 1998 to 2003.
It was the first series of the iMac family and came in several bright colors.
Thanks to its colorful and cheerful appearance, it became a highlight to succeed in lifting Apple out of the crisis of the 1990s. It was an all-in-one computer, meaning that it included within itself all the parts and accessories necessary for its operation, including modem, network card, USB ports and cd-rom reader. The G3 was designed and built under the directives of Steve Jobs. The great innovation of this product was not so much technological, as aesthetic: until that moment in fact the colors of computers were always white, gray and beige and the example of Apple to bring a little color in this world was then followed by many other companies. The slogan of the iMac was in fact: “Sorry, no beige!”, just because they wanted to fight this monotony. Apple has always stood out for its attention to aesthetics, and this computer was a great example of that.
