Chair designed by Fratelli Campana in 2004 and produced by Edra.
It may seem random or a child’s drawing at first glance, instead it is a very fine design seat.
As always Fratelli Campana know how to surprise and never bore. It may seem very unstable, but it is not: it is a self-supporting seat, with a very rigid structure. The result of an irregular handmade interweaving of curved steel wire, covered with coral, black or white epoxy paint. The pieces are then welded together, in a very long and demanding job. As always, Fratelli Campana experiments with hybrid forms that are never common. The complexity of making them and the skill it takes to create these pieces mean that each individual session requires an entire week of work. As always when it comes to Fratelli Campana, a unique piece has come to life.
