Series of modular units created by Fabio Novembre in 2017 for Kartell.
They are a clear reinterpretation of Kartell’s classic modulars, designed years earlier by Anna Castelli Ferrieri.
Fabio Novembre takes a historical icon of Kartell, the timeless modulars that have been part of the lives of Italians for many years. He then decides to add that nice, ironic touch, typical of his personality and his attention to detail: these small complements are no longer cold and static, but smile and are happy with their function. The classic round hole is transformed into a wink, recalling the very current world of emoji. At the base, a smiling mouth. Smile is available in three different versions. An original and playful reinterpretation, also suitable for the environments of children. What can I say, another masterstroke, which is already enjoying great success.
