Thin Black Lines Chair by Nendo

Thin Black Lines Chair by Nendo

Chair designed by Nendo in 2010 and produced by his studio.

A hymn to minimalism, a structure composed only of thin black lines.

We all know Nendo’s poetics: everything very modern, essential, nothing more than what is needed. Here everything is based on little: these lines create an optical effect, and at the same time the structure of the chair itself. If we change perspective the object changes, and this is definitely a strong point of this chair-sculpture. Folded lines form the structure of the chair, inclined and perfectly distant from each other. A simple but fantastic object, a symbol of Nendo’s incredible ability.
