Lamp designed in 1970 by Livio Castiglioni and Gianfranco Frattini and produced by Artemide.
An experimental lamp from a formal and technological point of view.
A true innovation, a flexible lighting source that can be arranged as you prefer.
The lamp is made from a translucent PVC tube lined internally with metal rings. The Boalum is composed of various sections, and each section can be grafted into the next: in this way the lamp can become “infinite”. It can be used as a floor lamp, table lamp, or hanging lamp. In it there is a bit of that pop spirit that characterized all those years. An object that maintains its years well and continues to be sold even today.
