Ercolino by Andrea Branzi

Ercolino by Andrea Branzi

Bottle opener created by Andrea Branzi in 1999 for Alessi.

It is a bottle opener that resembles the shape of a strong man, made of stainless steel and birch wood.

A symbol of irony and diversity, Ercolino is a common bottle opener, but with an uncommon shape. Branzi likes to experiment, as we all know, and in particular the turned wooden part is the one that is closest to his heart in this object. This is because wood communicates, creates harmony and is a poetic material. Ercolino has become part of the Collection to celebrate Alessi’s 100 years, and is therefore considered a true symbolic object.
