Telephone designed by Gösta Thames in 1940 for the Swedish company Ericsson, which also took the name “Cobra Telephone”.
Its strong point was always its ease of use, which made it perfect for use in hospitals.
A small, light, and easy-to-use item that could last several years doing its job, this was the company’s focus when designing it. It was first produced in 1954 and sold to the public beginning in 1956. The fact that it was made of one piece made it a state-of-the-art and very practical item. Aesthetically very beautiful, Ericofon was produced in plastic material and in many different colors, some of them quite garish.
