Little Lion is part of a series of decorative objects, named W&S Sculptures, featuring porcelain products with sculptural shapes and very distinctive textures.
This item blends a distinctive rough surface with the likeness of a three-legged silhouette. The name suggests it’s a lion, but it’s all left a bit to the viewer’s imagination here. This collection is nothing more than a challenge in bringing together the digital and physical worlds: creatures modeled in 3D, whose essence then takes shape through refined and well-defined materials. The designers wanted to give these objects shapes on the borderline between the ordinary and the extraordinary. It’s up to the viewer to judge what they are, putting in more reality or more fantasy.
