Iconic kettle designed by Michael Graves in 1985 for Alessi.
It is part of the history of design thanks to its shape and details, such as the “little bird that whistles” when the water boils.
Alessi has always been a master at making beautiful, everyday objects that stand out from the rest. Michael Graves has collaborated extensively with the company, creating many different objects, all of which have been very successful. The 9093 kettle stands out for its “pop” and iconic shape, and is the progenitor of the series of objects Graves has designed for Alessi. The jewel in the crown is definitely the bird on the beak of the kettle: in addition to guaranteeing the whistle when the water boils, it is a really fine aesthetic detail and of great thickness. In short, Alessi certainly does not disappoint.
